La Matta
La Matta was designed to be an Italian sandwich shop in East Austin Texas at the corner of 5th and Comal Streets. The sibling to Il Brutto also opened in 2018. The atmosphere is casual, bright, and cheery. The handmade terra cotta tiles at the order counter are meant to bring the red roofs of Italy to mind.
