Il Brutto

Il Brutto is an Italian restaurant in East Austin Texas at the corner of 6th and Comal Streets. It is a New Waterloo project that opened in 2018. It offers multiple dining spaces indoors with a moody atmosphere. There is an open kitchen where you can see fresh pizzas pulled from the wood fired oven or dough being rolled out in their pasta room. The private dining room features a custom wine fridge with a wall of wine storage above. Outdoors is a dining deck nestled under a live oak tree. Make sure to try their cacio e pepe with handmade pasta!
